ESCADA is a German brand which is known all around the world not only because of the fragrances they produce but also thanks to the women’s luxury designer clothes line. The brand came into existence in 70’s in Munich and the oldest fragrance composition is dated 1990.

Since the brand was advertised by Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Anja Rubik, why wouldn’t I identify with it myself?

I adore luxurious cosmetics, yet I’m not that fond of clothes. Therefore, no wonder why I mainly focused on fragrances during my last shopping. In this way I came across the new product launched by Escada which is a summer fragrance that belongs to Escada Fiesta Carioca the limit edition. Why have I fallen in love with this particular aroma? What should you know about it?

The word Carioca has two meanings and it stands for an inhabitant of Rio de Janeiro and a type of samba. As exotic and energetic the dance is, as hypnotising is the fragrance of Escada Fiesta Carioca. It can’t be described, it has to be sensed. I totally encourage you to look for the fragrance in your local perfumery and lose your senses to the very aroma notes, even just for a moment.

Escada Fiesta Carioca perfumes were developed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of creating Escada summer fragrances limit edition series. This perfume, thanks to which you can find new passion and life energy, is supposed to represent the capstone of the brand’s quarter-century success.

How does Escada Fiesta Carioca smell?

Honestly? I find it incredibly difficult to describe the smell in plain words. Sadly, my writing skills aren’t that developed yet, but I’ll do my best so as to visualise the marvellous fragrances for the sake of the post. Empathize with it my dearest readers! 😉

The first thing that you sense while smelling Escada Fiesta Carioca is passion fruit and fresh raspberry aroma. Fruity notes is something that I love smelling throughout a day. I have to admit that Escada Fiesta Carioca fragrance is long-lasting and the aroma lingers on my skin long since the application. With time the fragrance transforms into slightly more delicate and more citrus notes of passion flower and orange flower which really put me into a good mood. At the end of the day the perfume leaves my skin with a charming smell of musk and cedar wood. Definitely, this fragrance is far from being ‘suffocating’. I would say that Escada Fiesta Carioca is very sensual and feminine.
