I am sure many of you struggle to choose the perfect foundation from time to time. I know how difficult is to match it to the skin tone, select the proper formula and composition that will also take care of the complexion. Fortunately for me, after a long search for the perfect foundation, I have found the holy grail. It is the one and only Double Wear Nude from Estee Lauder. The ideal foundation…

What should the ideal foundation be like, in your opinion? I’d say it should not only cover the face but also somehow treat the complexion. Therefore it must contain nourishing and moisturising ingredients. Also, it must come in a wide colour range to fit all skin shades. What are other desired properties? For me, the foundation must cover up imperfections, and mattify or brighten the complexion (depending on the occasion to wear it, or personal preference). Of course, a UV filter and anti-ageing should be a necessity in every cosmetic designed for the face. How about Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude? Is it the answer to all the above-mentioned expectations?

Double Wear Nude foundation from Estee Lauder

It has a liquid formula which makes the application quick and easy and it is almost insensible on the skin. Moreover, it mattifies the skin, especially in the T-zone and covers up imperfections. The product contains antioxidants, moisturisers and SPF 30. It is a long-lasting cosmetic that does not rub off nor oxidise (it doesn’t turn darker after a few hours of wearing it). Conclusion? Double Wear Nude foundation from Estee Lauder is my go-to, all-time favourite product. My make-up looks flawless and natural all day long and it leaves the skin nourished.

How do I apply Double Wear Nude?

Shake the bottle before use. I do it with every cosmetic every time before opening;) I apply a pea-size amount of the product on the back of my hand and once it is warmed up, using a flat brush, I transfer it to my face. Then, I distribute it all over focusing on the area around the nose, making sure there are no stains along the hairline and the jawline. Once it is blended in, I go in with a translucent powder to set everything in place.
